Right to Education

The early years of any child are precious and providing early childhood education to children contributes significantly in their emotional and social growth. As we approach the end of another year and as some of the children prepare to transfer to the local primary school, we see what education has given them; witness their confidence in being able to carry with them, “knowledge and the power they need to identify their rights, fight for them effectively and succeed in the real world.”

We, at the Sunshine Preschool are proud to celebrate a twenty-year journey in providing preschool education for fifty vulnerable children living in the eastern province of Sri Lanka. We are grateful to all our partners, donors both locally and internationally well-wishers and volunteers who have helped us to achieve this.
