Psycho-social support programmes & workshops. The interactive workshops have proved to help children to regain some aspect of their lost childhood. Workshops already facilitated have included puppetry making, paper-Mache workshop, drama and dance prgorammes, art workshop, and disaster preparedness & response workshop.

Providing one set of uniforms for 35 sunshine children, both girls & boys using 2 ½ yards of fabric inclusive of sewing charges @ Rs. 250/- per child x 35 children
►Estimated cost for uniforms: USD 77
(Sri Lankan Rs. 8,750).

Health & Wellbeing Workshops for the Children & Health Discussion Programmes for the Mothers. Health & Wellbeing Workshops for the children, conducted so far have contributed immensely towards awareness raising and monitoring good health practices as well as supporting the family in follow-up treatments.

Many families living in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka continue to face enormous challenges in their day to day lives. Often living below poverty lines many of these communities still lack of basic health care facilities, nutrition, clean drinking water and permanent homes making them feel vulnerable and helpless.
